I came to tech by accident and stayed on purpose. I studied economics, joined a travel startup, and became a PM because it was the closest thing to thinking hard about problems and helping build solutions. I ask “why does this matter?” before “how do we build it?” It makes me a slightly annoying PM, and hopefully a useful one.
